12000 spectators had come to Tved's Hule this cloudy day. Augustin Pavelescu was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Viktor Dueckert and Rüdiger Kretschmayer. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for bredballe. They fielded: Winther - Skov-Jensen, Heyde, Minh Phong, Sivebæk - Kamau, Brink, Storm, Haring - Søndberg, Holmgren.

A. Kristiansen tried using a burst of speed to get past his defender after 4 minutes, but it takes more than that to get past fast P. Sivebæk. T. Berg Briese's speed was clear to see after 34 minutes, as he darted down the wing and released P. Ellerbæk who placed the ball into the back of the net to make the score 1 - 0. N. Nissen of TGF seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 0 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by O. Larsen Nielsen. After 37 minutes, a counter attack by bredballe was converted into a decent free kick opportunity. However, the indirect free kick routine was easily anticipated by the defenders. A textbook example of how to defend a free kick - the attackers were left with few viable options. bredballe managed to reduce the score to 2 - 1 as A. Holmgren finished off a well-played combination from the left, easily carving through the defence. bredballe's J. Brink got himself booked for a foul. The visiting team's A. Holmgren was able to score the 2 - 2 equaliser with a header 44 minutes into the match, after some good work on the right. TGF took the lead, 3 - 2, after a penalty 44 minutes into the match. O. Larsen Nielsen scored from the penalty spot. Halftime score was 3 - 2. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

The visitors were awarded a penalty by the referee 51 minutes into the match, much to the anger of the home crowd. K. Skov-Jensen took advantage of the situation and scored to make it 3 - 3. Down the middle came N. Minh Phong, making a fantastic play that nearly had bredballe take the lead after 53 minutes, but O. Peter preserved the tie. After 58 minutes, A. Kristiansen came in from the right, feinted, then sped past the off-balance defender to make the score 4 - 3, giving TGF the lead. bredballe's G. Søndberg was shown a yellow card after 63 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 72 minutes into the game bredballe's K. Haring found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 4 - 4. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 81 minutes allowed K. Skov-Jensen to score for bredballe. The scoreboard now read 4 - 5. F. Jensen of TGF received a yellow card after 85 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. bredballe claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.

Most important TGF player was T. Berg Briese. A. Schou was a disappointment, however. G. Søndberg performed admirably for bredballe. However, M. Winther made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 4 - 5.
