The following players took the field: Hlel - Buchowiecki, bin Nan, Molbo - Bastidas, Murdock, MacKieson, Bondi, Marik - Parum, Vergara.

slice tactics involved an interesting 5-3-2 combination. Starters: Novak - Sharples, Redlingshofer, Orneli, Callebaut, Byman - Franson, Persson, Waplington - Grimaux, Diener.

slice clearly had decided to counter-attack when they could. With 20 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as K. Molbo flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. A counterattack by slice after 29 minutes could have resulted in a goal, but P. Byman, coming in on the left, couldn't get the shot off. M. Marik made one of his many fine passes from the wing into the middle 35 minutes into the match. S. Vergara bravely attempted to execute a diving header and the ball was met firmly with his forehead for Chargers. 2 - 0. M. bin Nan's curling free kick almost found the goal for Chargers, but the visitors' keeper somehow managed to get ahold of it. R. Diener spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch. The guests got an opportunity to reduce after 40 minutes and P. Byman took it from the penalty spot, scoring easily for 2 - 1. slice had to make a substitution after 41 minutes. C. Callebaut limped off the field and was replaced by S. Studnicki-Gisbert. The slice captaincy was handed to V. Franson. After 43 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by K. Parum might have resulted in another goal for Chargers. However, D. Novak made a spectacular save. slice mounted an inspired counterattack down the right wing after 44 minutes, but D. Sharples was unable to convert from short range. The referee showed slice's G. Grimaux the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. 2 - 1 was the halftime score. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Chargers, with 76 percent of the ball.

Clever play that showed his experience gave K. Parum a good chance to score, but the shot hit the crossbar. Chargers had a magnificent opportunity after 61 minutes as K. Molbo hit the ball hard from the edge of the penalty box. However, the shot went wide. D. Bondi left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 66 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. A. Salem was the replacement. Chargers's G. Murdock was shown a yellow card after 67 minutes for slicing down an opponent. D. Novak's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for slice, he bravely continued in the match. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Chargers coach let E. Warsame replace S. Vergara after 81 minutes. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, W. Buchowiecki got himself booked. The manager of Chargers was not happy. After 84 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and E. Warsame gave the Chargers supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 3 - 1. Chargers's J. Bastidas got himself booked for a foul. Chargers put themselves up 4 - 1 when J. Bastidas broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake. D. Novak was caught napping as M. bin Nan lifted a ball over him following a free kick, but the ball hit the bar, rebounding into the keeper's arms. After 89 minutes, the defensive line of slice created a counterattack through the middle that gave V. Franson a good look at the goal, but his shot glanced harmlessly off the crossbar. Chargers claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 78 percent.

K. Parum performed admirably for Chargers. E. Warsame turned in a dismal performance, however. slice's top performer was clearly V. Franson. S. Studnicki-Gisbert was a disappointment, however. The match ends 4 - 1.
