A. Burkinshaw placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left.
Busy's
M. Olivera was shown a yellow card after 13 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
With the scoreboard showing that 25 minutes had been played, Lytham nearly put themselves up another goal after
O. Constantine came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save.
After 30 minutes of play,
S. Raun equalised for Busy after an elegant attack from the right.
The home side put themselves ahead 2 - 1 after 38 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from
R. Kéri, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing.
The teams went for the halftime break at 2 - 1.
Busy enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 53 percent of possession.
A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Busy to 3 - 1 as
M. Olivera finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Busy lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
Busy were determined to attack in the middle, even their wing attacks ended up centrally.
Cheers filled the stadium as
J. Portillo broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 4 - 1 to Busy.
It was obvious that team Busy had instructions to attack in the middle instead of on the wings.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Busy's
B. Gorenjec increasing the lead to 5 - 1.
After 77 minutes Lytham's
A. Polignino limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue.
B. Gorenjec's lack of experience almost gave Lytham a goal after 78 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms.
Busy's
M. Brinz increased the lead to 6 - 1, after he saw his shot go between the legs of the advancing goalkeeper following some good play down the right wing after 79 minutes.
Busy's
R. Kéri was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 80 minutes.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Busy, with 60 percent of the ball.
Busy's top performer was clearly
G. Rengifo.
T. Rötschi on the other hand, had a terrible day.
Lytham's best player was
F. Taylor.
On the other hand,
S. Griffiths's play was disheartening.
