Annand's lack of experience almost gave Elstow a goal after 8 minutes, but the shot went right into the keeper's arms. A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Jizzdabbler's D. Millard increasing the lead to 2 - 0. 16 minutes into the match Elstow's F. Carvell head butted an opponent nastily, and so the referee sent him off immediately. A speedy charge from the left side of the field increased the lead of Jizzdabbler to 3 - 0 as B. Sutch finished it off competently, firing in from an acute angle. Jizzdabbler managed to extend their lead to 4 - 0 when L. Garvey cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Jizzdabbler lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 40 minutes into the match, the speedy A. Caffyn easily outpaced T. Eckersley, chipped the keeper and made the score 5 - 0. The referee showed Jizzdabbler's L. Carrol the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Jizzdabbler's G. McKinnon refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 43 minutes. It was 5 - 0 at the break. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Jizzdabbler, with 80 percent of the ball.

Jizzdabbler solidified their lead at the 48 minute mark, as B. Blessington dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 6 - 0. With 49 minutes played, A. Caffyn of Jizzdabbler fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. Jizzdabbler increased the lead as M. Ujjal struck to make the score 7 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper. A great save by keeper A. Inam after 68 minutes kept the visitors in the game after H. Spalding struck from the left with a real cannonball. Jizzdabbler claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 83 percent.

Jizzdabbler's top performer was clearly G. McKinnon. However, D. Millard made a disastrous appearance. Most important Elstow player was S. Stroud. C. Hatter was a disappointment, however. The match ends 7 - 0.
