70603 spectators arrived at daddy Arena, where weather conditions were pretty good for football. Gabriel Collin was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Emil Petreanu and Mads Laudrup. Grenades tactics involved an interesting 4-4-2 combination. Lineup: Ames - Hargreaves, Pepper, Reagan, Goldshteyn - Wilson, Dubreuil, Zepeda, Ocampo - Paul, Beatty.

Using their counter-attacking abilities was the strategy of choice for Grenades. Cocks got a penalty shot 14 minutes into the game, but C. Ogle scuffed the shot slightly and D. Ames was able to block. Grenades's defence sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counterattack with 15 minutes gone, but E. Paul's finish was met by the reaching hands of the keeper. E. Paul's speed is always a threat when he gets a little room to move, and 23 minutes into the match was no different as he broke free of his man to send a delightful through ball to T. Beatty who knocked it in for Grenades. 0 - 1! 29 minutes into the match, Cocks's D. Doe maneuvered his way around the opposition on the left flank, delighting the crowd with his twists and turns. The effort paid off as the ball found the back of the net, evening the score at 1 - 1. T. Beatty finished off the counterattack of Grenades from the left rather easily, making the score 1 - 2. Some fine passing in the middle of the pitch, carving open the away defence, should have led to a goal for Cocks, but J. Guillen's shot went over the bar. Cocks's J. Guillen was shown a yellow card after 37 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Grenades were forced into a substitution as J. Ocampo couldn't continue due to some rough treatment, forcing R. Schneider to come in off the bench. M. Suárez made a superb strike after 39 minutes with a shot straight in front of the goal after a long ball through the middle, but one of the visitors' defenders got a foot in at the last second and warded it off for a corner. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 2. Possession in this half belonged to Cocks, who controlled the ball 61 percent of the time.

Grenades almost scored after a counterattack 66 minutes into the match, but E. Paul took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. With 69 minutes played, Grenades's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to J. Pepper he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 1 - 3. R. Monk charged down the left and looked sure to score for Cocks 70 minutes into the game, but his shot went just wide. J. Guillen of Cocks seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 2 - 3 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by C. Ogle. 80 minutes into the game M. Menzer could see that the opposing goalie was out of position and tried an unexpected lob that the keeper just barely reached. The rebound went to J. Guillen who failed to hit the target. Cocks were awarded a penalty with 82 minutes played, and C. Ogle made no mistake as he effortlessly slotted the equaliser home. 3 - 3. Cocks's C. Ogle had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 84 minutes having been played. K. Gonzalez was the replacement. Cocks enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

Most important Cocks player was M. Suárez. J. Guillen was a disappointment, however. T. Beatty performed admirably for Grenades. However, R. Schneider made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 3.
