previous 4/10 next 6/10  Futebol 0 - 8 ANDRIOLO (392531881)

Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 12855 to Arena do Flechão. Gazi Yülük was the appointed referee. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Futebol. The following players took the field: Garrelts - De Berti, São José, Passos, Mineirinho - Briano, Pena Aguiar, Rosário, Periquito - Tupã, Pontes.

ANDRIOLO started off with a 3-5-2 lineup. Lineup: Lucassen - Cunha Leite, Lobinho, Penápolis - Hasar, Aganzo, Caputo, de Castilho, Fernandes - Aquino, Moreno.

The guests took the lead 3 minutes into the match, after a right-side attack resulted in G. Moreno scoring to make it 0 - 1. T. de Castilho increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2. The home crowd was not impressed when G. Moreno came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 10 minutes. ANDRIOLO were now up 0 - 3. B. Garrelts kept the home side in the game with a magnificent save when K. Aquino delivered an almost perfect free kick to the far post. Halftime score was 0 - 3. ANDRIOLO enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 76 percent of possession.

A drive down the left side allowed N. Lobinho to get in close and score another goal for ANDRIOLO after 66 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 4. After 73 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave G. Moreno a chance to increase the lead for ANDRIOLO, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 5. By then G. Moreno had scored three goals - a hat trick! The players of ANDRIOLO now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. After 77 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for L. Aganzo who increased ANDRIOLO's lead to 0 - 6. With 78 minutes played, ANDRIOLO put themselves up 0 - 7 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was K. Aquino. The visitors' T. de Castilho took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 79 minutes into the match. 0 - 8 for ANDRIOLO. The ANDRIOLO players could smell victory in the air. J. Penápolis wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for N. Zemolin after 80 minutes. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by ANDRIOLO, with 79 percent of the ball.

The most dominating Futebol player was without a doubt A. Periquito. B. Garrelts was a disappointment, however. ANDRIOLO's top performer was clearly L. Aganzo. J. Cunha Leite on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 8.
