Furonazo clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. After 5 minutes, Atmhulk's N. Grundman made his way through the middle and nonchalantly placed the ball out of the keeper's reach, putting the visitors up 0 - 1. A. Peñarrubia of Furonazo seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 1 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by D. Vela. Furonazo fans held their breath as E. Felgoso scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 2 - 1! The visitors didn't give in and, after 25 minutes, W. Rohrmeier got through the home side's central line of defence, rolling in the equaliser to make it 2 - 2. The referee showed Furonazo's E. Felgoso the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. Unfortunately for Atmhulk, M. Paus was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. P. Garin replaced him. 28 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for Furonazo to take the lead after a good cross from the right found M. Piqueres alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post. After 29 minutes, Atmhulk's P. Garin fell awkwardly, but was determined to stay in the match. That's the spirit! Halftime score was 2 - 2. Atmhulk enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 55 percent of possession.

74 minutes of the match played, and a comedy of errors by the home side gave the visitors a chance at the lead, but A. Navarro, after finding himself dashing down on goal from the left with only the keeper to beat, sliced his shot horribly wide. Atmhulk's V. Lesnichenko got himself booked for a foul. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 83 minutes into the match left Atmhulk's A. Navarro completely free to score. 2 - 3 for the visitors. Unhappy with the result so far in the game, the Furonazo manager used a brief break in play after 84 minutes to give the players new directives. After 84 minutes, Furonazo used a short break in the game to take new instructions from their coach. The Furonazo players listened closely to their manager, as he gave new tactical instructions for the team. Furonazo tried to even things up by sending a long ball towards the centrally placed strikers, but the visitors' defence got the best of this rather direct style of play. 86 minutes in, Atmhulk's W. Rohrmeier received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. N. Grundman received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 87 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 2 - 4. The Atmhulk fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Confident in their lead, Atmhulk's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. T. Lemoine of Atmhulk took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 88 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 2 - 5. Atmhulk had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

Furonazo's top performer was clearly D. Vela. F. Valsera turned in a dismal performance, however. Most important Atmhulk player was T. Lemoine. However, P. Garin made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 5.
