It was an exceptionally sunny day for the crowd of 2146 that came out to
PASSALA STADIUM.
Kristaps Ešmanis was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Mats Scherzmann and
Ern Molitor.
A 5-4-1 alignment was the formation of choice for ---FUMACISU---.
The following players took the field: Salvaggio - Busiello, Doppelhammer, De Pril, Grabalski, Merget - Pfundten, Marcade, Astrup, Cozzula - Brøndum.
Stonewall started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
Lineup: Alioli - Hansen, Ebbinge, Boissier - Paulin, Gadek, Sloten, Ryser, Lank - Chana, Moravčević.
For their match strategy, Stonewall had decided to use their ability to counter-attack whenever possible.
C. Salvaggio looked great 23 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors'

N. Astrup took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net.

S. Lank was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 25 minutes.
The visiting
S. Lank was booed thoroughly by the home crowd 28 minutes into the game, after he broke through the middle and scored, resulting in the visitors taking the lead. 0 - 1 was the score.
C. Paulin received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 30 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The Stonewall fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
S. Lank was doing a great job on his wing, sending in brilliant passes to his teammates in the middle, but
C. Paulin seemed unable to profit from this excellent service.
It was 0 - 2 at the break.
Possession in this half belonged to Stonewall, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.
E. De Pril dispatched a majestic long shot 70 minutes into the match, but missed the goal by a few metres.
After 77 minutes of game time,
M. Moravčević had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but
C. Salvaggio was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner.
With 78 minutes gone,
A. Brøndum suddenly found himself completely free on the right wing when a counterattack by ---FUMACISU--- caught their opponents by surprise. Only a great save by the opposing keeper prevented him from scoring.
S. Lank was in the clear after breaking the offside trap following a Stonewall counterattack from the left after 84 minutes. His neat finish made the score 0 - 3.
After this, you could see that the players of Stonewall were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
With 87 minutes played, Stonewall's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
T. Hansen he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 4.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Stonewall, with 54 percent of the ball.
---FUMACISU---'s best player was
P. Busiello.
C. Salvaggio turned in a dismal performance, however.
K. Chana performed admirably for Stonewall.
However,
F. Alioli made a disastrous appearance.
