The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave M. Korbel from salaki a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 12 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Unfortunately for Ferno, B. Hucher was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. B. Porto replaced him. C. Mescalchin had a good opportunity to give salaki the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. Ferno's S. Hunger was shown a yellow card after 23 minutes for slicing down an opponent. Ferno could have put themselves ahead after 33 minutes but A. Secci missed a volley shot on a ball coming in from the right. After 37 minutes of play, L. De Ambrosis gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Ferno, with 63 percent of the ball.

With 64 minutes played, Ferno put themselves up 2 - 0 when the visiting defenders lost the ball to C. Toninelli, who came up from the left and proceeded to coolly round the keeper and knock the ball home. The players of Ferno now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. salaki's C. Hensley got himself booked for a foul. B. Porto's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Ferno, he bravely continued in the match. G. Properzi behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 76 minutes as he gave the ball away to S. Hunger. Lucky for him though, there was no goal. J. Thomas struck a 30 metre free kick home 78 minutes into the match. 3 - 0 for the home team. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, B. Blicher got himself booked. The manager of Ferno was not happy. Ferno's A. Secci swung in a good chance from the left, but the visitors' defence were able to clear the ball. Ferno had most of the ball, with 65 percent of possession.

Ferno's top performer was clearly A. Secci. V. Lācis turned in a dismal performance, however. salaki's best player was M. Korbel. However, C. Mescalchin made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 3 - 0.
