(392939866)

03-07-2012 19.20
2427 spectators had found their way to
PEYOTE staples centre, despite the heavy rain.
Hendrik-Jan Romijn was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Luca Morelli and
Lauri Riippi.
PEYOTE decided to use a 4-5-1 set up.
Starters: Rousset - Yolaçan, Kancijanić, Drouet, Schiti - Husseiny, Pettersen, Amadieu, Cantarelli, Chaliba - Karaca.
A 3-5-1 alignment was the formation of choice for Team.
They fielded: Galán - Amorfini, González Alfaro, Olmos - Seux, Ezquerdo, Casillas, Bruguera, Monreal - Ventosa.
PEYOTE's
A. Amadieu had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 11 minutes having been played.
T. Nardella was the replacement.
The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit
D. Monreal just fine.
PEYOTE made a bid to take the lead as a ball coming in on the right hand side left
T. Nardella completely alone with keeper
A. Galán, who made a spectacular block.
Team's
R. González Alfaro was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 21 minutes.
I. Ezquerdo of Team was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
34 minutes into the match PEYOTE's
G. Chaliba viciously shoved another player from behind while going for a loose ball and was sent off the pitch with a red card.
Unfortunately for Team,
J. Olmos was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field.
D. Conner replaced him.
E. Cantarelli received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 38 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
40 minutes had elapsed when a great chance for PEYOTE to take the lead after a good cross from the right found
S. Karaca alone with the keeper, but he chipped it to the wrong side of the post.
The home side put themselves ahead 1 - 0 after 41 minutes courtesy of a breakthrough from
Q. Husseiny, who scored with a stunning volley following a cross from the right wing.
42 minutes into the game, Team seemed a little tentative in their play as their organization fell to
inadequate.
The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0.
PEYOTE claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 54 percent.
Despite his frustration resulting in the smashing of a few teacups, the coach of Team was able to get his message across, and raised Team's organisation to
solid.
Team's
D. Conner got himself booked for a foul.
A loud groan was heard from the fans of PEYOTE, as
E. Pettersen left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match.
G. Pettinelli took his place on the field.
PEYOTE almost scored after a counterattack 69 minutes into the match, but
S. Karaca took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net.
77 minutes into the game, Team seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a
passable level of organisation.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by PEYOTE, with 53 percent of the ball.
The most dominating PEYOTE player was without a doubt
Q. Husseiny.
Y. Yolaçan was a disappointment, however.
Most important Team player was
R. Seux.
D. Conner turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 1 - 0.
