previous 10/10 next 2/10  NMK 0 - 3 Škis (393211852)

The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 30000 had shown up at NK NMK Arena for the match. Zsolt Seress was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Boris Pineau and Zvonko Savanović. NMK decided to use a 3-4-3 set up. They fielded: März - Stekelenburg, Gondko, Mazzon - Belšek, Lorent, Blitz, España - Gromicho, Rosenstein, Klangling.

Škis tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination. The following players had been chosen: Dürrschmidt - Sadio, Bak, Tranchand - Thiesel, Pronk, 項鵬 (Xiangpeng) , Marty, Gutman - Delucchi, Gleyze.

NMK tried to focus their attacks down the middle. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 7 minutes allowed D. Pronk to score for Škis. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. With 22 minutes played, Škis put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was D. Pronk. The Škis players could smell victory in the air. G. Gleyze wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for R. Ster after 23 minutes. The Škis captaincy was handed to J. Tranchand. Content with how the game was proceeding, the Škis coach let I. Simeunovič replace O. Sadio after 23 minutes. S. Bak increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 3. D. Pronk left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 31 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. P. Nivellini was the replacement. After this, you could see that the players of Škis were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. D. Klangling did everything he could to get one back for his NMK, but keeper A. Dürrschmidt denied him with a spectacular block. D. Klangling challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 39 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. 0 - 3 was the score after the first half. Škis had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

After 58 minutes, A. Thiesel sprinted between the opposing defenders and squared the ball, but the keeper deflected G. Delucchi's shot. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, C. España got himself booked. The manager of NMK was not happy. It was almost a goal for Škis following S. Bak's good header after a corner, it went just over the bar though. Škis claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 69 percent.

NMK's best player was Á. Gromicho. V. Belšek was a disappointment, however. Škis's top performer was clearly 霍. 項鵬 (Xiangpeng) . P. Nivellini on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 3.
