Due to an all-day shower, 1502 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at Inter Crackers Arena. Eugène Sautter was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Paul Vancompernolle and Jérémie Castelain. Crackers had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. C. Casaverde did not have a good day today, often losing his footing on the muddy pitch. As the 20 minute mark approached, the Crackers coach decided it was time for a substitution. B. Arraya reluctantly made way for M. Chacín on the pitch. The terraces were silenced after 23 minutes when Orfdogs's O. Pugh put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. With 29 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed D. Černohorský of Orfdogs to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. R. Velardo got a fingertip on C. Carvalho's shot from the left 31 minutes in, and managed to keep the visitors from going up another goal. Some fine movement on the left led to a Orfdogs goal after 33 minutes, making it 0 - 3. O. Pugh was noted down as the scorer. By now, the players in Orfdogs felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Orfdogs enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 58 percent of possession.

O. Pugh came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over R. Velardo but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. Orfdogs's J. Machado soared above the crowd, but couldn't knock the corner home 54 minutes into the match. J. Aarnoudse was, after 71 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper R. Velardo made the save. 74 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 4 as A. Rattray finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. 76 minutes into the game, Orfdogs worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. Possession in this half belonged to Orfdogs, who controlled the ball 70 percent of the time.

Most important Crackers player was R. Crego. J. Ovando was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Orfdogs player was without a doubt D. Kotsios. However, D. Černohorský made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 4.
