Feťáci immediately set off using their skill at pressing their opponents. The wings were the focus of most of Kondoři's attacks today. After 7 minutes, W. Ziegler sent the corner kick right to A. Vlas who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 0! A lot of people in the terraces claimed the penalty resulting in Kondoři's V. Uusmaa equaliser for 1 - 1 was a mistake by the referee. He did, however, have a very good view of the situation from his position. The pressing tactics used by Feťáci were successful as the ball remained close to the half way line at all times. The celebrations in the stands could only mean one thing - W. Ziegler's free kick had found the back of the net and put Feťáci ahead 2 - 1! With 36 minutes gone, Kondoři had a free kick in a decent position. Despite this being a great chance for a shot, they tried a cheeky move intended to bypass the defence. However, J. Komín did not manage to connect with it cleanly and the ball went out. Halftime score was 2 - 1. Kondoři had most of the ball, with 59 percent of possession.

The Feťáci players could smell victory in the air. Ľ. Perlička wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for S. Rynsewyn after 46 minutes. Jandík made a run for the goal 71 minutes into the game but the home team's left back managed to sort the situation out in the end. With 85 minutes played, the Kondoři coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. G. Pederzani came on, B. Hökskär had to leave the fray. Kondoři claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 61 percent.

Feťáci's top performer was clearly J. Minx. On the other hand, H. Gehart's play was disheartening. The most dominating Kondoři player was without a doubt L. Pohořelský. D. Přívara was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 1.
