Dark skies made the crowd of 855 at Infierno Carolino a little nervous, but the rain held off. Lucjan Franik was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Eldert Kolenberg and Carlo Ferrari. losdosiles decided to use a 5-3-2 set up. The following players had been chosen: Güner - Dórason, Loncle, Perciballe, Milán, Barrios - Karslian, Annuar, Cejudo - Pătrăuceanu, Castillo.

ELN had chosen a strategic 5-3-2 formation. The following players took the field: Fabre - Karabasz, Sáiz López, Merakchi, Kobe, Martín Díaz - Pironti, Casagrande, Hornes - Paratore, Talmor.

Pressing was the tactic of the day for losdosiles. 5 minutes into the game, R. Kobe had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came W. Arkless. An opportunity to take the lead after 7 minutes was wasted as ELN's S. Talmor missed a penalty, firing wide of the mark. ELN took the lead 8 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. S. Talmor was the scorer. The home crowd cheered when, after 21 minutes, H. Hornes's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. After 28 minutes, S. Talmor sent the corner kick right to A. Merakchi who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 2! The players of ELN now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Given a free kick close to the byline, ELN tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let H. Hornes slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 3, 30 minutes into the game. 0 - 3 was the halftime score. ELN claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 73 percent.

After 72 minutes a very unfortunate collision in the penalty area led to losdosiles's A. Karslian being carried off the pitch and replaced by A. Robledo. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, S. Talmor would have put ELN up another goal 73 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. S. Talmor of ELN took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 75 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 4. losdosiles's H. Dórason left the field after 78 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was N. Domínguez. After 80 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed L. Martín Díaz to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 5. The referee signalled a penalty 81 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box. S. Talmor knocked it home to make the score 0 - 6. At that, S. Talmor was noted down for a hat trick! ELN had most of the ball, with 67 percent of possession.

losdosiles's best player was R. Castillo. A. Cejudo turned in a dismal performance, however. ELN's top performer was clearly S. Talmor. A. Merakchi was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 6.
