Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 1451 at MAPFC Globetrotters ARENA today. Yu Yoshitomi was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Janne Johansson and Ursul Fleck. MAPFC tactics involved an interesting 4-3-3 combination. The following players had been chosen: Miller - Sabag, Zarzur, Bureta, Pöttinger - Babaoğlu, Godoi, Chacón - Alves, Novak, Costa Lobo.

F.C.bobbo started off with a 4-5-1 lineup. Lineup: Gramanet - Aliberti, Turek, Bologna, Perucchini - De Simei, Piacitelli, Negrin, Pelliciari, Di Giovanni - Righi.

MAPFC took a creative approach on the field. F.C.bobbo were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. 12 minutes into the game, MAPFC had difficulty finding their positions and their organisation dropped to weak. F.C.bobbo took the lead after 22 minutes making the score 0 - 1. A. Di Giovanni placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. 26 minutes into the game, MAPFC seemed to suffer a certain amount of confusion and they fell to a wretched level of organisation. S. Pöttinger was just a finger's breadth away from an equaliser for MAPFC with a strike from the left, but P. Gramanet managed to ward the shot off for a corner. With 32 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed A. Righi of F.C.bobbo to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. It was obvious that F.C.bobbo had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Some fine movement on the left led to a F.C.bobbo goal after 35 minutes, making it 0 - 3. A. Di Giovanni was noted down as the scorer. Halftime score was 0 - 3. F.C.bobbo claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that MAPFC had inadequate organisation. A drive down the left side allowed G. Aliberti to get in close and score another goal for F.C.bobbo after 56 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 4. By now, the players in F.C.bobbo felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Players in F.C.bobbo heard their coach's words ringing in their ears and steered their central attacks to the wings instead. A. Righi increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 5. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Godoi from MAPFC a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 61 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! A. Perucchini of F.C.bobbo had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. B. Del Prete came in to finish the match. 65 minutes into the game, F.C.bobbo worked the left side industriously creating several opportunities to add to their lead, but just couldn't apply the finishing touch. The head of M. Piacitelli connected with a corner kick after 73 minutes, and the ball ended up with T. Negrin of F.C.bobbo who blasted the ball into the net, making the score 0 - 6. Although the whole team were struggling to impress, MAPFC's P. Chacón was singled out as being the problem as he was called off the pitch after 75 minutes. D. São José was given a chance to change things around. S. Babaoğlu became the new MAPFC captain. After 80 minutes, there was a bit of a mixup on the field as MAPFC found themselves out of position and their organisation level dropped to weak. F.C.bobbo increased their lead after 81 minutes when A. Di Giovanni broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 7, much to the home crowd's dismay. This third goal completed a hattrick for A. Di Giovanni. F.C.bobbo had most of the ball, with 64 percent of possession.

J. Costa Lobo performed admirably for MAPFC. However, S. Babaoğlu made a disastrous appearance. F.C.bobbo's top performer was clearly A. Righi. B. Del Prete was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 7.
