The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 30000 had shown up at Stade de Guldager for the match. Lev Šustaršič was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Đorđe Ramić and Cosme Morán. After regaining order and consulting his linesman, the referee called Teisen's B. Lind to one side and produced a red card for the player. GULDAGER's F. Meretei went down after a savage challenge, but could continue playing after some medical attention. GULDAGER took the lead 39 minutes into the game by 1 - 0, as D. Bishop elegantly received a long range pass through the middle, finishing off with a half-volley shot just below the bar. Undaunted, Teisen managed to tie it all up after 40 minutes, with T. Gick's lucky free kick. The score was 1 - 1. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Teisen had most of the ball, with 58 percent of possession.

GULDAGER were very close to putting themselves one up after 47 minutes as F. Balsby got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Teisen took the lead 72 minutes into the game, making the score 1 - 2 after some elegant movement down the middle. B. Vestergaard was the scorer. 76 minutes into the match, Teisen could have gone up another goal, but T. Gick's penalty kick missed the goal by a mile. Possession in this half belonged to Teisen, who controlled the ball 60 percent of the time.

M. Lindhander performed admirably for GULDAGER. On the other hand, N. Rasmussen's play was disheartening. Teisen's best player was H. Valiante. O. Midtgaard was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 2.
