Fábri broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. Kenyér's A. Raekallio skillfully knocked a pass over the top after 42 minutes, and that was received by E. Matos who just managed to slot it past the opposing goalkeeper for 1 - 3. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 3. Possession in this half belonged to Erdo, who controlled the ball 80 percent of the time.

The visitors' T. Bankó took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 52 minutes into the match. 1 - 4 for Erdo. Erdo's P. Kazelor was shown a yellow card after 67 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The visitors nearly scored again after 68 minutes, but a superb save by C. Andreoli kept P. Kazelor's free kick out of the net. The visitors almost increased their lead after 74 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. With 83 minutes played, Erdo put themselves up 1 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was K. Murawiecki. After 85 minutes, Erdo's P. Gerencsér burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 6. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Erdo lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. Erdo had most of the ball, with 81 percent of possession.

Most important Kenyér player was K. de Boer. On the other hand, A. Raekallio's play was disheartening. Erdo's best player was A. Cabreira. F. Merle was a disappointment, however. The match ends 1 - 6.
