Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 12000 at united_inside Arena today. Djalma Amazonense was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Vitus Madsen and Ticão Diniz Leal. united_inside started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. They fielded: Macuh - Jerman, Horvat, Trlep, Viler - Neuhaus, Zabukovec, Meyer, Pegan - Crnčević, Jamnišek.

Kaizen started off with a 2-5-3 lineup. The following players had been chosen: Rebollar - Tenesor, Pagkalos - Conrad, Žarn, Križaj, Glavina, Lavrenčič - Rochus, Bogdanovič, Mernik.

Kaizen showed off their creative tactics. Kaizen had several good opportunities to take the lead, especially 4 minutes in when S. Žarn came up alone against J. Macuh who managed a block. 5 minutes in, Kaizen appeared unsure on how to play and their organisation was only weak. Kaizen took the lead 12 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. S. Žarn was the scorer. After 16 minutes, united_inside's V. Crnčević swiftly ran past L. Križaj and nutmegged the keeper! 1 - 1. With 26 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. Y. Rochus put the ball away for 1 - 2. After 39 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed M. Glavina to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 1 - 3. 40 minutes into the match, Kaizen's Y. Rochus demonstrated his famed speed as he raced past his marker and passed the ball to A. Mernik who chipped it in for 1 - 4. After 41 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for A. Tenesor who increased Kaizen's lead to 1 - 5. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Kaizen lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. 1 - 5 was the score after the first half. Kaizen enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 84 percent of possession.

The coach gave his players an extra tactical briefing during the break, and after that Kaizen had passable organisation. After 48 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for Y. Rochus who increased Kaizen's lead to 1 - 6. With 66 minutes played, Kaizen put themselves up 1 - 7 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was A. Mernik. Kaizen's T. Bogdanovič proved that he's been around on a football pitch before, when he took advantage of a few moments of confusion in the opposition's defensive line and elegantly scored for 1 - 8. The home crowd was not impressed when Y. Rochus came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 83 minutes. Kaizen were now up 1 - 9. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for Y. Rochus. After 84 minutes, Kaizen sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached N. Pagkalos, who had plenty of space to place a well aimed shot - 1 - 10. R. Conrad received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 85 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 11. The Kaizen fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Kaizen claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 88 percent.

Most important united_inside player was V. Horvat. N. Viler on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Kaizen player was without a doubt L. Križaj. J. Lavrenčič turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 11.
