Clouds darkened the skies at
Riihimäen Keskuskenttä as 23521 spectators turned up for the match.
Menelao Calascibetta was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
John Olatunbosun and
Emilio Asón.
Pallo-Seura started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.

Munkerot increased their lead after 22 minutes when
V. Saarni broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 2, much to the home crowd's dismay.
L. Quint of Munkerot took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 29 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3.
After the ball was lifted in from the left,
I. Parlapidis was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 31 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration.
J. Postila received some harsh words from his coach after he acted foolishly 38 minutes into the match, probably out of lack of experience, and almost let an opponent score.
Munkerot increased their lead after 39 minutes when
F. Botija broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay.
At this point, it was obvious that the players of Munkerot lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented.
There was concern in the stands when, at the 42 minute mark, Pallo-Seura's
J. Matala hit the ground hard, but he refused the attention of the trainer and rejoined his teammates on the pitch.
The referee signalled a penalty 43 minutes into the game following an offence which looked like it was outside the box.
C. Cismas knocked it home to make the score 0 - 5.

Munkerot had most of the ball, with 75 percent of possession.
With 48 minutes played, Munkerot put themselves up 0 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was

With 54 minutes played, Munkerot's well-worked indirect free kick caused havoc in the penalty area, and when the ball eventually fell to
D. Latabár he gleefully slotted the ball home to make it 0 - 7.
Munkerot's
J. Lovio got himself booked for a foul.
With 65 minutes played, Munkerot put themselves up 0 - 8 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was

M. Grundkvist.
J. Turunen on the other hand, had a terrible day.
