The weather was pretty good, and a crowd of 3518 had shown up at THE PASTURE-GROUND for the match. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 11 minutes into the match, and A. Kullenflod wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. With 13 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed A. van Houten of Wolferines to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 2. Some things can only be learned through experience, and M. Lap should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting HAMSTERKILLERS a goal with 22 minutes of the match played. D. Verboom of HAMSTERKILLERS seemed to be floating in the air as he elegantly headed in to make the score 1 - 2 after a corner kick that was nicely executed by G. Bruni. Given a free kick in a difficult position after 32 minutes, Wolferines tried a variation that they had practised in training. The kick was sent into the area just in front of the keeper. However, the defence were on their toes and allowed no space for a finish. R. Carloni received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 43 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 3. The Wolferines fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. D. Ellingsen was, after 44 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper R. Kelsen made the save. It was 1 - 3 at the break. Wolferines claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 62 percent.

It took several tries, but HAMSTERKILLERS managed to break through on the left after 55 minutes, getting the ball to G. Bruni who easily reduced the lead to make the score 2 - 3. A. van Houten came close to extending the visitors' lead when he found himself completely unmarked in front of the goal after a pass through the middle. He tried to lift the ball over R. Kelsen but overcooked it and hit the bar instead. With 75 minutes having been played, HAMSTERKILLERS scored to make it 3 - 3. A dribble down the left wing, followed by a shot which took a wicked bounce off a defender resulted in the keeper having no chance. Everyone thought it'd been an own goal, but D. Schnellfrieder was marked down as the scorer. With 76 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. M. Lap put the ball away for 3 - 4. After 83 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for H. Hendrikx who increased Wolferines's lead to 3 - 5. Wolferines claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 60 percent.

Most important HAMSTERKILLERS player was D. Schnellfrieder. However, B. Bråthen made a disastrous appearance. A. Więch performed admirably for Wolferines. M. Pelletier was a disappointment, however. The match ends 3 - 5.
