Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 32361 at Bunker der unerklärlichen Niederlagen today. Vladimir Radosavlj was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Massimiliano Braca and Orvo Seppälä. A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Grasnarbe. Grasnarbe had a chance to take the lead after D. Prochazka's dazzling drive up the left, but the opportunity fizzled out as his shot went just over the bar after 3 minutes. Grasnarbe were very close to putting themselves one up after 4 minutes as G. Andries got through on the left, but failing in concentration, he shot the ball wide. Grasnarbe took the lead, 1 - 0, after a penalty 13 minutes into the match. K. Zimer scored from the penalty spot. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 0. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Grasnarbe, with 75 percent of the ball.

Grasnarbe solidified their lead at the 55 minute mark, as H. Faulhaber dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 2 - 0. Grasnarbe managed to extend their lead to 3 - 0 when K. Zimer cut in neatly from the left side and struck a fine shot past the away team's goalkeeper. After 71 minutes, K. Zimer sent the corner kick right to P. Peponofloudas who headed it sharply past the keeper. 4 - 0! 80 minutes into the match K. Zimer put Grasnarbe ahead 5 - 0 with a truly marvelous free kick. At that, K. Zimer was noted down for a hat trick! After this, you could see that the players of Grasnarbe were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. L. Rottwinkel wanted to play on, but the Grasnarbe coach had other ideas, and he was replaced 85 minutes into the game by C. Levzi. C. Levzi became the new Grasnarbe captain. D. Prochazka left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 85 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. H. Bertiz was the replacement.
