Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and
FC 2660 Arena saw a crowd turnout of 21478.
Eloi Canella was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jens Mei and
Raymond Humbert.
2660 decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
They fielded: Krüger - Vad-Jensen, Flyvbjerg, Tranberg, Moltrup-Nielsen - Nørreskov, Klougart, Harlind Aagaard, Lisby - Janfelt, Nørholt.
HLH. tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
Lineup: Stærk - Korsgård, Tjäderhall, Dalum - Rađen, Junker, Trifunović, Aaen, Åkesson - Lykke, Magleby.
A mistake by the home side's central defence after 5 minutes allowed
N. Lykke to score for HLH.. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1.
L. Magleby increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 2.
The players of HLH. now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
T. Janfelt from 2660 a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 21 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
2660's
J. Moltrup-Nielsen refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 24 minutes.
Some fine movement on the left led to a HLH. goal after 28 minutes, making it 0 - 3.
N. Lykke was noted down as the scorer.
L. Magleby received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 37 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 4. The HLH. fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
2660's
M. Vad-Jensen was shown a yellow card after 38 minutes for slicing down an opponent.
The visitors'
H. Junker took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 39 minutes into the match. 0 - 5 for HLH..
Halftime score was 0 - 5.
HLH. enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 82 percent of possession.
After 52 minutes, HLH.'s
L. Magleby burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6.
At that,
L. Magleby was noted down for a hat trick!
With 71 minutes played, HLH. put themselves up 0 - 7 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
B. Rađen.
A drive down the left side allowed
N. Lykke to get in close and score another goal for HLH. after 79 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 8.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
N. Lykke.
81 minutes were showing on the scoreboard when 2660's
M. Vad-Jensen received his second yellow card and was sent off.
Given a free kick close to the byline, HLH. tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let
I. Trifunović slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 9, 83 minutes into the game.
With 87 minutes played,
E. Nørholt of 2660 fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving.
After 88 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
H. Junker who increased HLH.'s lead to 0 - 10.
Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by HLH., with 87 percent of the ball.
The most dominating 2660 player was without a doubt
T. Nørreskov.
On the other hand,
A. Tranberg's play was disheartening.
HLH.'s top performer was clearly
T. Stærk.
R. Tjäderhall was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 0 - 10.
