Clear skies welcomed the 15311 spectators who had made their way to www.glade.dk Arena. William Haggart was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Eckehart Sagan and Sune Radich Melosi. www.glade.dk started off with a 4-4-2 lineup. Atomics had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation. They fielded: Maasikas - Rysgaard, Kristensen, Ovando, Chebykin - Dobriţoiu, Svendsen, Arnesen, Birch - Rykaczewski, Caticura.

Atomics clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle. 0 - 1 was the score with 4 minutes played, after E. Rykaczewski cut through the central defence and chipped home a goal for Atomics. Some fine movement on the left led to a Atomics goal after 15 minutes, making it 0 - 2. D. Dobriţoiu was noted down as the scorer. The coach of Atomics was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 15 minutes, R. Steffensen came on for E. Svendsen. 23 minutes in, www.glade.dk's P. Birch received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Unfortunately for Atomics, P. Birch was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. X. Ruiz-Berriz replaced him. After 31 minutes, U. Jonassen sent the corner kick right to K. Odumbe who headed it sharply past the keeper. 1 - 2! After 37 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave R. Steffensen a chance to increase the lead for Atomics, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 1 - 3. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Rysgaard from Atomics a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 38 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! U. Jonassen was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so www.glade.dk's G. Kongsbak had to come off the bench. After 41 minutes, Atomics's X. Ruiz-Berriz burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 1 - 4. E. Rykaczewski received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 43 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 1 - 5. The Atomics fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Halftime score was 1 - 5. Atomics enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 60 percent of possession.

A penalty kick was awarded to www.glade.dk 50 minutes into the match, and R. Martens expertly put it away. 2 - 5. With 65 minutes played, Atomics put themselves up 2 - 6 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was E. Rykaczewski. By then E. Rykaczewski had scored three goals - a hat trick! The players of Atomics now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. Given a free kick close to the byline, Atomics tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let J. Caticura slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 2 - 7, 68 minutes into the game. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Atomics, with 64 percent of the ball.

K. Sommer performed admirably for www.glade.dk. On the other hand, K. Odumbe's play was disheartening. The most dominating Atomics player was without a doubt F. Arnesen. K. Chebykin turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 7.
