Libertador Lautaro Arena, despite the heavy rain.
Jesús Wolff was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Themis Thomaidis and
Ralph Bælum.
Everyone was excited about the upcoming
Metropolitana derby and the crowd was divided evenly.
Libertador decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.

cheleros had chosen a strategic 4-4-2 formation.
The following players took the field: Robles - Portales, Talma, Tupper, Aragón - Zamorano, Udobro, Skewes, Parro - Paravic, Eguiluz.
Libertador clearly preferred using their ability to attack in the middle.
With 11 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as
T. Harrak flipped the ball in after a cross from the right.
Cheers filled the stadium as
T. Venckāvičs broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 2 - 0 to Libertador.
By now, the players in Libertador felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward.
T. Venckāvičs was uncomfortable with the soggy pitch as he couldn't move the ball around with his usual grace.
Libertador increased the lead as
T. Harrak struck to make the score 3 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
Libertador solidified their lead at the 23 minute mark, as
O. Orbán dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 4 - 0.
The teams went for the halftime break at 4 - 0.
Libertador claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 82 percent.
The muddy pitch made the game a gritty affair, which seemed to suit
A. Pupier just fine.
A magnificent combination in the middle resulted in Libertador's
T. Harrak increasing the lead to 5 - 0.

T. Harrak had scored three goals - a hat trick!
R. Paravic of cheleros received a yellow card after 61 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Libertador solidified their lead at the 71 minute mark, as
W. Demol dribbled the ball through the opposing central defence and scored to make it 6 - 0.
Almost all the way down to the corner flag, Libertador's
W. Demol somehow managed to get a perfect pass into the middle, impossible to miss for
M. Vinhais, who struck for 7 - 0.
A. Pupier had a fantastic opportunity to put Libertador up another goal 79 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar.
81 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
O. Orbán broke through, making the score 8 - 0 for Libertador.
After 82 minutes,
A. Pupier put Libertador ahead 9 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
Libertador claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 86 percent.
Most important Libertador player was
T. Harrak.
On the other hand,
P. Acheros's play was disheartening.
The most dominating cheleros player was without a doubt
G. Portales.
F. Talma was a disappointment, however.
