15777 fans braved the pouring rain at
Sámsonel T. T. SZ. S. E. Arena.
Ding I-Ping was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Jonas Sommarflod and
Fernando Gabriel Morel.
Papó decided to use a 4-4-2 set up.
The following players had been chosen: Klára - Thurzó, Maczó, Ady, Bora - Kirsner, Hostisóczki, Witz, Szépi - Szemenkár, Vitzthum.
Sasok started off with a 3-5-2 lineup.
Lineup: Bigas - Mønsted, Koppel, Covino - Kuang, Baboss, Galambos, Jalsovszky, Basto - Bajusz, Botija.
Sasok's
F. Botija managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 11 minutes. 0 - 1.
After 19 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
H. Koppel who increased Sasok's lead to 0 - 2.
After this, you could see that the players of Sasok were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
G. Jalsovszky spent most of the time in a heap on the ground today, his normally rapid movement hindered by the slippery pitch.
After 26 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed
F. Botija to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3.
Á. Galambos had a hard time on the waterlogged pitch - his trademark technique was nowhere in sight today.
D. Kuang could have put his team up another goal 36 minutes into the game, after a rush down the left, but his closing shot hit the post.
The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 3.
Sasok claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 71 percent.
Sasok increased their lead after 55 minutes when
P. Bajusz broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 4, much to the home crowd's dismay.
Sasok had to make a substitution after 58 minutes.
L. Bigas limped off the field and was replaced by
I. Bencze.
C. Covino received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 69 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Sasok fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
After 74 minutes, Sasok's
F. Botija burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 6.
By then
F. Botija had scored three goals - a hat trick!
The home crowd was not impressed when
P. Bajusz came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 77 minutes. Sasok were now up 0 - 7.
Papó's
A. Bora was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 78 minutes.
After the ball was lifted in from the left,
G. Jalsovszky was on his own in the home side's penalty area and should have scored after 79 minutes, but missed, probably due to lack of concentration.
Sasok enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 75 percent of possession.
Papó's top performer was clearly
C. Witz.
On the other hand,
A. Bora's play was disheartening.
The most dominating Sasok player was without a doubt
H. Koppel.
I. Bencze was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 0 - 7.
