Lečko was, after 83 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper F. Linden made the save. The home crowd was not impressed when B. Özkam came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 84 minutes. Strijboschjes were now up 0 - 5. Strijboschjes claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 88 percent.

G. van Gent performed admirably for EDDY.Ts. J. Tanquía on the other hand, had a terrible day. Strijboschjes's top performer was clearly F. Zoff. E. Voet turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 0 - 5.
