Sasok 8 - 0 Kerekegyházi
(241968749)

07-11-2009 15.30
Clear skies welcomed the 29642 spectators who had made their way to
Zöld Sas Stadion.
Ronny Asbjørnsen was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Wolfgang Baumhauer and
Björn Meyer.
Sasok had chosen a strategic 3-5-2 formation.
Starters: Bigas - Mønsted, Koppel, Covino - Kuang, Hegedüs, Galambos, Jalsovszky, Basto - Bajusz, Botija.
Kerekegyházi started off with a 4-4-2 lineup.
The following players took the field: Antal - Estland, Bai, Győrffy, Kállay - Fenyves, Kirsner, Kemenes, Ember - Kepe, Sándor.
G. Jalsovszky behaved like an inexperienced youth player after 19 minutes as he gave the ball away to
A. Kemenes. Lucky for him though, there was no goal.
After 35 minutes of play,
F. Botija gave the home team a 1 - 0 lead after an attack coming in from the right.
Sasok increased the lead as
Á. Galambos struck to make the score 2 - 0 after an attack from the left left him unmarked in front of the keeper.
With 40 minutes played,
D. Kuang could have brought this one home for Sasok as he charged up on the left, but his hooked ball went just a bit too high.
Cheers filled the stadium as
Á. Hegedüs broke through the visitors' central defence to put away the ball to increase the lead to 3 - 0 to Sasok.
43 minutes into the match, the visitors' central line of defence had to look on as
F. Botija broke through, making the score 4 - 0 for Sasok.
Confident in their lead, Sasok's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it.
The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave
Á. Kepe from Kerekegyházi a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 44 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient!
It was 4 - 0 at the break.
Sasok claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 81 percent.
The Sasok free kick 62 minutes into the match seemed wasted, as the shot was both short and off target. But was this actually a plan? The ball landed at the feet of
G. Jalsovszky, who was completely unmarked in the box. That's 5 - 0!
Things were going to get worse for the visitors.
P. Bajusz squirmed through their central defence after 80 minutes, increasing the lead to 6 - 0.
Sasok put themselves up 7 - 0 when
F. Botija broke through on the right, leaving the entire defence trailing in his wake.
This third goal completed a hattrick for
F. Botija.
After 87 minutes,
F. Botija put Sasok ahead 8 - 0 when he rose to head in a cross from the right wing.
The home side's
G. Jalsovszky came close to extending the lead 89 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but
M. Antal managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop.
Possession in this half belonged to Sasok, who controlled the ball 84 percent of the time.
The most dominating Sasok player was without a doubt
F. Botija.
On the other hand,
Á. Hegedüs's play was disheartening.
J. Ember performed admirably for Kerekegyházi.
P. Bai was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 8 - 0.
