Looijen came close to putting the visiting team one up 12 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but H. Ardley managed to tip the ball to a corner. The referee showed Firenze's A. Surgeon the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. A loud groan was heard from the fans of Team, as T. Leahy left the pitch in too much pain to finish the match. C. Collins took his place on the field. Firenze took the lead 27 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. N. Guyver was the scorer. With 29 minutes played, Firenze put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was G. Bane. By now, the players in Firenze felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Team's H. Ardley left the field after 35 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was G. Poynton. L. Wyco was handed the Team captain's armband. A defender managed to keep the ball from crossing the goal-line after a curling shot coming in from the right from G. Bane after 37 minutes, and prevented Firenze from going up another goal. Team had to make a substitution after 38 minutes. C. Collins limped off the field and was replaced by J. Healy. With 39 minutes played, H. Looijen nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Firenze, with 74 percent of the ball.

With the scoreboard showing that 58 minutes had been played, Firenze nearly put themselves up another goal after H. Looijen came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Firenze came close to extending their lead as H. Looijen delivered a low effort on goal from the right after 60 minutes, but the angle was too narrow and the shot went harmlessly into the side netting. With 71 minutes played, 葉. 瑞興 (Ruixing) was very close to reducing the score for Team with a low drive from the left, but a defender stuck his foot out just in the nick of time, blocking the shot to a corner. After 76 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed 潘. 力憧 (Lichong) to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 3. 78 minutes in, Firenze's H. Looijen received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. There was no way Team's L. Wyco could continue to play after this, and no replacements were available! L. Pardy became the new Team captain. The visitors' G. Bane took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 83 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for Firenze. Firenze claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 79 percent.

The most dominating Team player was without a doubt J. Healy. On the other hand, G. Poynton's play was disheartening. Most important Firenze player was C. Benson. H. Looijen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 4.
