Oslo 0 - 5 Slippmegfri
(250629816)

23-09-2009 16.00
33498 spectators had come to
Oslo Bay Arena this cloudy day.
Wojciech Nadolny was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Gianluca Carlo Besozzi and
Stan Liesse.
Oslo tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
They fielded: Trytko - Seierstad, Eckhoff, Negård - Tjelle, Hygen, Wright, Vatne, Vinje - Gjengedal, Behrens.
Slippmegfri decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
The following players took the field: Klausen - Leijonfeldt, Gunnarsson, Elderson - Izáciga, Vitár, Kajiwara, Schiffers, Morken - Iódice, Seiger.
The visitors grabbed the lead after
S. Vitár's free kick succeeded, resulting in a score of 0 - 1.
After 29 minutes, Slippmegfri's
H. Iódice burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2.
Had it not been for one of the home defenders,
S. Vitár would have put Slippmegfri up another goal 30 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing.
With 35 minutes played, Slippmegfri put themselves up 0 - 3 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was
H. Iódice.
After this, you could see that the players of Slippmegfri were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals.
36 minutes in, Slippmegfri's
T. Kajiwara received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first.
In a fantastic display of determination, Oslo's
C. Vinje forced himself to his feet, after an opponent viciously knocked him down.
Halftime score was 0 - 3.
Possession in this half belonged to Slippmegfri, who controlled the ball 66 percent of the time.
After 51 minutes a well-practised indirect free kick routine by Slippmegfri was easily anticipated by the defenders. The players forward were so well marked, they were left with few viable options.
After 68 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for
C. Seiger who increased Slippmegfri's lead to 0 - 4.
L. Morken received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 75 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Slippmegfri fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early.
Against a lesser team, Slippmegfri could very well have succeeded with their smart indirect free kick routine after 81 minutes. A trio of passes took the ball all the way past the defenders, but by then the intended recipient was already blocked off and the keeper could make a leisurely save.
Slippmegfri claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 63 percent.
Most important Oslo player was
D. Trytko.
On the other hand,
K. Seierstad's play was disheartening.
Slippmegfri's top performer was clearly
H. Iódice.
R. Klausen was a disappointment, however.
The match ends 0 - 5.
