Fairly good weather for football had drawn a crowd of 12000 to Rovers FC_99 Arena. Bobbie van ‘t Schip was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Egidio Gaspari and Dominik Tavčar. A 4-4-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Rovers. They fielded: Crane - Hayes, Gourdeau, Targeau, Chassé - Tanguay, Lauzière, Morissette, Janelle - Trahan, Carroll.

After 5 minutes, Ressurection put themselves up 0 - 1, as G. Lyle finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot. After several obvious shirt pulling incidents, E. Janelle got himself booked. The manager of Rovers was not happy. With 22 minutes played, Ressurection put themselves up 0 - 2 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was A. Srichipan. After this, you could see that the players of Ressurection were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. Z. Werłos of Ressurection took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 25 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 3. M. Delattre increased the visitors' lead by putting a volley away after a pass from the right. 0 - 4. Z. Werłos received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 37 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 5. The Ressurection fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Halftime score was 0 - 5. Possession in this half belonged to Ressurection, who controlled the ball 86 percent of the time.

Given a free kick close to the byline, Ressurection tried a move that loyal fans may recognise from training. A pass to the side pulled the defence out of position which let E. Avidan slip through on goal. He didn't have to break his stride, and slipped the ball past the keeper to make it 0 - 6, 48 minutes into the game. With 54 minutes played, B. Morissette of Rovers fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. After 57 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave G. Lyle a chance to increase the lead for Ressurection, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 7. After 63 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for N. Wästertorp who increased Ressurection's lead to 0 - 8. After 70 minutes, Ressurection's Z. Werłos burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 9. This third goal completed a hattrick for Z. Werłos. E. Janelle of Rovers got sent off for kicking the ball after the whistle, a completely uncalled for move, earning him his second yellow card of the game. The visitors' E. Avidan took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 75 minutes into the match. 0 - 10 for Ressurection. Ressurection had to make a substitution after 77 minutes. A. Rice limped off the field and was replaced by F. Brisebois. Ressurection claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 89 percent.

Most important Rovers player was E. Chassé. B. Targeau was a disappointment, however. Z. Werłos performed admirably for Ressurection. On the other hand, F. Brisebois's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 10.
