Clouds darkened the skies at Camp Nou as 37493 spectators turned up for the match. Rolf Ramér was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Siegmund Kirchenbauer and Rafael Ejea. Ramos in a scuffle towards the left of the goal, but in the end the ball was cleared over the dead ball line. G. van der Vlies had a fantastic opportunity to put SCHUDDERTJES up another goal 19 minutes into the match, but he fired just over the crossbar. The home side's J. Vandenbroucke came close to extending the lead 28 minutes into the game. His shot came in from the right hand side but G. Citti managed to save it with an unbelievable reaction stop. With 31 minutes played, the visitors could have drawn level after O. Glikstein came through the middle, but his kick went wide. After 32 minutes, the away team failed to deal with a good exchange of passes on the right, and L. Evrard gave the SCHUDDERTJES supporters even more to cheer about when he increased the lead to 2 - 0. After 33 minutes Depinte's W. Jarema contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. Halftime score was 2 - 0. Possession in this half belonged to SCHUDDERTJES, who controlled the ball 51 percent of the time.

Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 47 minutes, SCHUDDERTJES did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, D. van der Wal was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 3 - 0. After this, you could see that the players of SCHUDDERTJES were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. 53 minutes into the match, Depinte replied and reduced the lead to 3 - 1. I. Prancha scored on a marvellous cross pass coming in from the left. SCHUDDERTJES had to manage with a reduced squad after 59 minutes, as B. Derijck got sent off for a needless foul away from the game's action. Content with how the game was proceeding, the SCHUDDERTJES coach let J. Arpke replace L. Evrard after 59 minutes. J. Arpke was the new captain of SCHUDDERTJES - handed the armband by the departing player. Things were deteriorating for the away team as SCHUDDERTJES scored another to make it 4 - 1 after a left side attack resulted in a goal for J. Vandenbroucke after 67 minutes. Depinte claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 53 percent.

G. van der Vlies performed admirably for SCHUDDERTJES. J. Arpke was a disappointment, however. Depinte's top performer was clearly O. Glikstein. G. Citti on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 4 - 1.
