2480 spectators had come to Kapr Polni Brno Arena this cloudy day. Taulant Boja was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Alberto Vivas and Jonathan Risi. A review of the gameplan helped Polni get back to a passable organisation when the referee blew his whistle again. After 71 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by R. Švarc might have resulted in another goal for Polni. However, M. Stefanović made a spectacular save. M. Udatný of Polni received a yellow card after 73 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 83 minutes in, Derani's B. Alméras received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Polni's M. Mettomäki startled R. Dočekal with an unexpected pass.
