Udovic had a good opportunity to give Pozerji the lead as he charged down the right and struck the ball towards the top corner, but the home team's goalkeeper made the save. C. Rodman looked great 33 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' F. Gade Hastrup. Pozerji's T. Reigsecker managed to lose the defenders as he advanced down the right wing and scored, putting the visitors ahead after 35 minutes. 0 - 1. After 36 minutes, R. Callens sent the corner kick right to B. Jarni who headed it sharply past the keeper. 0 - 2! With 37 minutes played, R. Callens nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. With 38 minutes gone, a long pass from the defence of Importal resulted in a counterattack that set F. Gradišar free through the middle, but the keeper made a spectacular diving save. It was 0 - 2 at the break. Pozerji enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 75 percent of possession.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Pozerji coach let A. Ilay replace F. Gade Hastrup after 46 minutes. The coach of Pozerji was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 46 minutes, Z. Mlakar came on for R. Cerar. Pozerji increased their lead after 47 minutes when J. Belc broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. After this, you could see that the players of Pozerji were more interested in killing time than scoring more goals. T. Lovša of Importal received a yellow card after 57 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. Importal's F. Gradišar was shown a yellow card after 64 minutes for slicing down an opponent. The player down was B. Jarni. The Pozerji bench looked worried for a while, but in the end he managed to get up. With 78 minutes played, Pozerji's R. Callens missed a penalty when the keeper made a premature dive in the right direction, and palmed the ball out of the way. Pozerji's J. Belc got himself booked for a foul. Unfortunately for Importal, Š. Gabre was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. D. Gorenec replaced him. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Pozerji, with 77 percent of the ball.

Importal's top performer was clearly O. Družina. L. Ogrinec on the other hand, had a terrible day. Pozerji's best player was R. Callens. Y. El-Hadeed was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 3.
