Due to an all-day shower, 234 paying spectators got to see a match on a pitch-turned-bog at KS Miedzyń Stadium. Harry Wessels was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Terry Gatsas and Jaroslav Votava. Miedzyń decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. M. Masdema didn't let the weather get him down and made some great moves on the pitch in spite of the rain. A mistake by the home side's central defence after 21 minutes allowed F. Fodor to score for Walkie. The scoreboard now read 0 - 1. M. Baiocchi was, after 25 minutes, almost able to extend the visitors' lead with a well placed diving header after the ball had looped into the centre, but the home side's keeper S. Łazarowicz made the save. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 1. Walkie enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 66 percent of possession.

The home crowd cheered when, after 67 minutes, P. Salvador's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. L. Oleksa of Walkie received a yellow card after 72 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. A drive down the left side allowed P. Salvador to get in close and score another goal for Walkie after 73 minutes, taking the score to 0 - 2. After 76 minutes Walkie's M. Masdema limped slightly after a late challenge, but he was able to continue. The rain made it hard for players like S. Maruszczak to show their technical control of the ball on this soggy day. 83 minutes in, Miedzyń's M. Setkowicz received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. F. Fodor was the unlucky victim and couldn't continue the game, so Walkie's G. Chiuso had to come off the bench. Possession in this half belonged to Walkie, who controlled the ball 63 percent of the time.

The most dominating Miedzyń player was without a doubt M. Firlej. R. Zbrzeski turned in a dismal performance, however. Walkie's best player was M. Krupczak. G. Chiuso was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 2.
