(283371005)

17-05-2010 20.00
143210 spectators had come to
Nomadic Arena this cloudy day.
José Manuel Domínguez was the appointed referee with assistance provided by
Rogelio Urmeneta and
Gene Baldinazzo.
P.F.C decided to use a 3-5-2 set up.
They fielded: Ispravnikov - Mobi, Auzbekov, Giršvildas - Damerval, Dufour, Beshkov, van Breukhoven, Apeler - Bargiacchi, Mirchev.
Dynamo tactics involved an interesting 3-5-2 combination.
The following players took the field: de Alba - Mortensen, Campbell, Koumi - Riedeman, Bolscher, Barrios, Cifuentes, Tarazona - Loma, Kang.
P.F.C used their ability to concentrate their attacks in the middle of the pitch, rather than on the wings.
They were singing the praises of
K. Mirchev 18 minutes into the match after his speculative chip from the middle of the penalty box found its way over the visitors' keeper to make the score 1 - 0 to P.F.C.
After 24 minutes, a couple of quick and successful challenges followed by a shot from just outside the penalty area by
S. Damerval might have resulted in another goal for P.F.C. However,
P. de Alba made a spectacular save.
D. Campbell of Dynamo was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle.
P.F.C's
M. Mobi left the field after 29 minutes because of a nasty blow to the shin. His replacement was
C. Taban.
1 - 0 was the score after the first half.
Dynamo had most of the ball, with 53 percent of possession.
The visitors almost came back with an equaliser 48 minutes into the match after a good combination down the middle, but when
J. Mortensen tried to finish the attack, he couldn't deliver the shot hard enough to seriously challenge the keeper.
The visitors'
S. Tarazona was alert after a cross coming in from the left, levelling the score at 1 - 1 after 63 minutes.
K. Mirchev caused the crowd to go mental with his goal up the middle after 64 minutes. This gave P.F.C the 2 - 1 lead.
The home crowd was dismayed when the referee called a penalty for Dynamo after 71 minutes.
K. Koumi calmly took the shot and scored. The game was level at 2 - 2.
Possession in this half belonged to Dynamo, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.
As neither team was able to break the deadlock before the end of regular play, the teams took to the field again for extra time.
After 101 minutes, Dynamo put themselves up 2 - 3, as
D. Campbell finished off a strike from the left with a real cannonball of a shot.
Game over, Dynamo win!
Most important P.F.C player was
G. Bargiacchi.
However,
C. Taban made a disastrous appearance.
Dynamo's best player was
E. Loma.
G. Barrios turned in a dismal performance, however.
The match ends 2 - 3.
