Clouds darkened the skies at oggy85 fc Arena as 12000 spectators turned up for the match. By now, the players in Basilisks felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. 29 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 3 as C. Johnson finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. A. Agnoli increased Basilisks's lead to 0 - 4 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. An indecisive keeper looked on as a free kick by Basilisks's A. Agnoli put the visitors up 0 - 5 after 54 minutes. After 65 minutes Basilisks's O. Weyts contracted a slight foot injury, but didn't want to leave the game. A well placed corner kick from A. Agnoli was followed by O. Weyts's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for Basilisks, the score now 0 - 6. C. Peteratzinger received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 77 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 7. The Basilisks fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. As C. Peteratzinger had, completely unprovoked, swept the legs out from under an opponent in front of a linesman, the referee gave the Basilisks player a red card without batting an eyelid. Some fine movement on the left led to a Basilisks goal after 83 minutes, making it 0 - 8. A. Agnoli was noted down as the scorer. At that, A. Agnoli was noted down for a hat trick! Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Basilisks, with 70 percent of the ball.

oggy85's best player was L. Tolson. G. Charles was a disappointment, however. Basilisks's top performer was clearly E. MacMains. R. Buckley on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 8.
