Dark skies made the crowd of 7425 at Xurupita's farm a little nervous, but the rain held off. Riku Beijar was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Edward Koneczny and Kornelius Zeller. The strategy for balugoli was to use their ability to press. H. Cervi came close to putting the visiting team one up 12 minutes into the match, following a solo raid down the middle, but O. Baiano managed to tip the ball to a corner. O. Baiano looked great 16 minutes into the match after stopping a shot from the middle of the penalty area from the visitors' V. Araújo. Unfortunately for balugoli, M. Gagliazzo suffered a concussion after 17 minutes and had to be taken for tests. The coach had his head in his hands after realising he could not send a replacement onto the pitch, and the team had to continue a man short. V. Araújo became the new balugoli captain. The terraces were silenced after 18 minutes when balugoli's D. Laureano put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. With 24 minutes played, E. Itabapoana nearly put the visitors another one up as he broke through in the middle and fired from just outside the box, but his shot passed just over the bar. C. Maragoji of RoXteaM was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. 0 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in this half belonged to balugoli, who controlled the ball 72 percent of the time.

After 48 minutes, a mistake by the home side's left defence allowed J. Pasini to get through. He outclassed the home side's keeper, adding another goal for the visitors. 0 - 2. Some fine movement on the left led to a balugoli goal after 66 minutes, making it 0 - 3. D. Laureano was noted down as the scorer. The visitors' R. Vidigal took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 73 minutes into the match. 0 - 4 for balugoli. The players of balugoli now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. The home crowd cheered when, after 76 minutes, H. Cervi's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. J. Pasini stunned the crowd with a brilliant counterattack from the left, giving balugoli the goal to make it 0 - 5. 84 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 6 as J. Pasini finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for J. Pasini. balugoli claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 79 percent.

The most dominating RoXteaM player was without a doubt M. Mariñas. J. Villascuerna turned in a dismal performance, however. balugoli's best player was H. Cervi. However, V. Araújo made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 0 - 6.
