Özbil finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Wortels's B. Larsen got himself booked for a foul. G. van Arendonk of zami had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. L. van Ginneken came in to finish the match. S. Strien was the new captain of zami - handed the armband by the departing player. The visitors almost increased their lead after 42 minutes when a sweetly hit free kick looked like it was heading for the top corner. However the keeper managed to get a fingertip to it, sending it over the bar. The visitors' L. Wortels came close to extending their lead as T. Confident in their lead, Wortels's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. A drive down the left side allowed M. Azhari had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 66 minutes having been played. L. de Kok was the replacement. After 75 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave L. Lescop a chance to increase the lead for Wortels, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 0 - 7.
