15726 spectators had come to Stadion Jebaca this cloudy day. Harmen Kok was the appointed referee. After thorough analysis and consultation of astrological charts, jebacine decided to go with a 5-3-2 formation. Lineup: Slováček - Rojas, Wollburg, Gatscha, Gürtuna, Zaragosa - Macur, Robertsson, Jere - Ščuka, Vrancken.

Gentlemen prefer blondes and Kaizen prefers a 3-5-2. Let's see how this plays out for them. Starters: Lunghi - Ihnen, Štrus, Senica - Mæland, Terribile, Cadaval, Plet, Keong Tze - Maczó, Rebolledo.

For their match strategy, jebacine had decided to use their formidable ability to counter-attack whenever possible. Kaizen took a creative approach on the field. After 5 minutes, the jebacine had a quick word about their shape on the field and decided to try another approach. Priding himself in being an active coach, the jebacine manager gave new directions for his players after 5 minutes. 5 minutes into the match, the jebacine manager wanted to try a new tactic, and the players loyally obliged. jebacine's defense sent a ball soaring up the middle on a beautiful counter-attack with 24 minutes gone, but F. Robertsson's finish was met by the firm hands of the keeper. After 29 minutes, jebacine's G. Wollburg successfully broke up a pass with his face. Instinctively, he got up again only to unintentionally use his now-throbbing schnozz to break up a second pass. As he was carted off for a concussion check, J. Padovac ran onto the field to take his place. M. Ščuka tipped the corner kick right to the keeper, who mishandled it, giving jebacine's A. Gatscha a chance to knock it in for 1 - 0. Everyone had expected a shot from the free kick 33 minutes into the game, but Kaizen sent the ball sideways instead, giving V. Cadaval a clear look at goal with no wall in his way. He sent it through the keeper's legs for 1 - 1! After 34 minutes, Kaizen sent a free kick in high over the penalty box. In what looked like a well-rehearsed move, the ball was headed backwards and reached F. Maczó, who had plenty of time to shoot and score - 1 - 2. Maybe S. Štrus should join the aquatics team instead. He went down dramatically after 35 minutes, crying out with agony as he fell. The referee was not impressed, though, and showed him a yellow for diving. jebacine's I. Rojas was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 37 minutes. After more pushing and shoving than a pack of helicopter moms trying to get the last appointment for their snowflakes to see the Easter Bunny, Kaizen's T. Rebolledo finally got himself booked for a foul. Halftime score was 1 - 2. Kaizen were doing a good job holding on to the ball, with 90 percent of possession.

The away team's S. Štrus took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 51 minutes increasing Kaizen's lead to 1 - 3. M. Ščuka looked around after sending his opponent to the ground to realize he was the last man. That's called denial of a goalscoring opportunity, and the jebacine player was sent off after 56 minutes. Given a free kick from an impossible angle, Kaizen went for a play that loyal fans may recognize from training. A square ball surprised the defense and let F. Maczó slip through at goal. He hit it first time, making the score 1 - 4, 74 minutes into the game. Kaizen's C. Keong Tze wanted to play on, but after 74 minutes the decision was made to give J. Dukarič a chance in his place. By now, the players of Kaizen felt that victory was a sure thing and began to play it safe, focusing on defense and not risking too much going forward. The Kaizen coach was happy with the scoreline, but still wanted to change the lineup. After 75 minutes, M. Ribagorça came on for P. Plet. As the captain was no longer on the field, M. Ribagorça took over the role for Kaizen. The Kaizen players could smell victory in the air. T. Rebolledo wasn't in a hurry to leave the field as he was substituted for O. Rupert after 75 minutes. Looks like Nate Silver was right again - his prediction that Kaizen would have 92 percent possession in this half was spot on!

Most important jebacine player was I. Rojas. Speaking of stinking up the place, F. Robertsson sure smelled like the bottom of Batman's shoe after a night of crimefighting in Gotham. The most outstanding Kaizen player was without a doubt E. Terribile. You can tell it was nickel beer night yesterday at the local bar because M. Lunghi seemed to stumble all over the pitch. The match ends 1 - 4.
