32581 fans braved the pouring rain at Soda Valley. Silvio Renders was the appointed referee. Soda decided to use a 4-4-2 set up. They fielded: Üts - Ethrington, Ellis, Maset, Fakorelis - Tither, Stockholm, Avram, Bosworth - Martynėnas, Bettonte.

Tractor started off with a 5-3-2 lineup. Starters: Kopra - Price, Thwaites, Rixon, Kelly, Dawkins - Petrescu, van IJsselmuiden, Ganghall - Ezhov, van Paassen.

Soda tried to focus their attacks down the middle. It was an obvious ambition of Tractor to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. Thighs bulging, J. Thwaites charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain. 16 minutes into the game, P. Petrescu had a great chance to put his team ahead, but his kick from the left went wide. With 17 minutes played, the home side managed to get a 1 - 0 lead as M. Bettonte flipped the ball in after a cross from the right. P. Petrescu came close to levelling the score 28 minutes into the game, as he was set up with a through ball coming in from the left, but his shot hit the post. L. Martynėnas of Soda received a yellow card after 30 minutes for unsportsmanlike behaviour. 31 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 1 - 1 as D. van Paassen struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. 1 - 1 was the score after the first half. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by Soda, with 54 percent of the ball.

A. Avram of Soda was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. With 57 minutes played, the visitors broke through on the right after some poor defending. I. Ezhov put the ball away for 1 - 2. L. Martynėnas charged down the left and had a wonderful opportunity to score the equaliser for Soda, but the shot went well wide of the goal. Central attacks were the recipe of the day for Soda, as they moved the ball from the wings to the middle with startling regularity. M. Bettonte showed the skills that make him a real crowd pleaser as he, after 78 minutes, wove through the guests' entire central defence and put the 2 - 2 equaliser away. Possession in this half belonged to Soda, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

Still tied after 90 minutes, the match continued into extra time. After 93 minutes, the visitors nearly went up a goal, but P. Petrescu's free kick hit the crossbar. Soda created a good opportunity to score 104 minutes into the match when L. Martynėnas's hooked ball from the left created a scuffle in front of the goal, and the visitors' defenders had a hard time clearing the ball. The counterattacks of Tractor were deadly and 105 minutes into the game, O. Dawkins received a nice pass from the right flank, making it 2 - 3. Game over, Tractor win! Soda's best player was M. Bettonte. A. Ellis on the other hand, had a terrible day. Most important Tractor player was P. Petrescu. G. Kelly turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 2 - 3.
