Clear skies welcomed the 30000 spectators who had made their way to El pollo fa pudor i l´hem tirat per el balcó. Håkan Knutsson was the appointed referee with assistance provided by Hugo Achtersteven and Toni Rotacher. junco9_team had chosen a strategic 3-4-3 formation. The following players took the field: Nielson - Iruñela, López Negredo, Nuñez Puerta - Drãgan, Gispert, Maltortel, Cadalla - Canter, Domènec, Borràs.

A 3-5-2 alignment was the formation of choice for Chapeleira. The following players had been chosen: Kinddahl - Pedra, Ftenidis, Morje - Spithoven, Dios, Marañón, Escardo, Rabl - Õigus, Willigers.

junco9_team fans held their breath as B. Borràs scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! 4 minutes into the game Chapeleira's P. Dios found a gap in the home side's central defence and scored with a fabulous shot, making it 1 - 1. Some quick footwork on the left side of the field 5 minutes into the match left Chapeleira's S. Spithoven completely free to score. 1 - 2 for the visitors. With 20 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed F. Marañón of Chapeleira to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 3. With 21 minutes played, Chapeleira put themselves up 1 - 4 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was P. Dios. It was 1 - 4 at the break. Chapeleira enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 52 percent of possession.

Content with how the game was proceeding, the Chapeleira coach let R. Aillón replace G. Willigers after 55 minutes. After 68 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for P. Dios who increased Chapeleira's lead to 1 - 5. At that, P. Dios was noted down for a hat trick! The coach of Chapeleira was happy with the game so far, but still wanted to change the line up. After 70 minutes, P. Serimanakrit came on for S. Spithoven. 70 minutes in, junco9_team's C. López Negredo received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Unfortunately for Chapeleira, P. Dios was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. H. Bantí replaced him. B. Borràs challenged the visitors' central defence eagerly, producing a good chance 73 minutes into the game as he went for a through ball. But, as so many times before, the guests' defensive efforts got the best of it. 74 minutes into the match, H. Bantí came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. The referee showed Chapeleira's F. Marañón the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. With the scoreboard showing that 84 minutes had been played, Chapeleira nearly put themselves up another goal after K. Õigus came through on the left. Fortunately for the home crowd, the keeper made the save. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

junco9_team's best player was E. Gispert. D. Maltortel was a disappointment, however. Most important Chapeleira player was S. Escardo. J. Kinddahl turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 1 - 5.
