OFC almost scored after a counterattack 25 minutes into the match, but W. Buckley took a shot from the left that landed harmlessly in the side of the net. 31 minutes into the game, E. G. Davreux could have put OFC into the lead after 47 minutes, but the free kick went just wide. The guests almost went up by a goal after 77 minutes when R. Kivi came through and shot from the right. The ball bounced harmlessly off the post, though. OFC had a good opportunity to take the lead as K. Temnikar came up the left side, but he struck the ball weakly and it went straight into the arms of V. Buligan. The terraces were silenced after 84 minutes when Gradec's T. Eltrin put the guests ahead 0 - 1, following an attack on the right. Possession in this half belonged to Gradec, who controlled the ball 56 percent of the time.

J. Śliwkiewicz performed admirably for OFC. On the other hand, A. Slakonja's play was disheartening. Most important Gradec player was T. Mujakovič. T. Eltrin was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 1.
