It was an obvious ambition of Geudertheim to use their ability at attacking on the flanks. 3 minutes into the match, Geudertheim nearly took the lead, as X. Ardions broke through on the right. L. Augis made the save, however. It was obvious that Geudertheim had instructions to attack on the wings instead of in the middle. Geudertheim's X. Ardions gave the visitors a 0 - 1 lead after 18 minutes with a superb strike from the right. With 28 minutes played, H. Cassin of Geudertheim fell dramatically just outside the penalty area. However, the referee was unimpressed, and booked him for diving. The home crowd was not impressed when H. Cassin came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 29 minutes. Geudertheim were now up 0 - 2. Geudertheim increased their lead after 30 minutes when H. Cassin broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 3, much to the home crowd's dismay. X. Ardions of Geudertheim was booked for kicking the ball away after the whistle. After 34 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for D. Dueholm who increased Geudertheim's lead to 0 - 4. manolo's E. Todesco was shown a yellow card after 38 minutes for slicing down an opponent. 0 - 4 was the score after the first half. Geudertheim had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.

With 52 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed T. Makkonen of Geudertheim to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 5. The players of Geudertheim now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. L. Porcar was the first to reach the corner kick, but his header was blocked by the keeper. However, manolo's L. Cucurella managed to get hold of the rebound and tucked the ball into the empty net. 1 - 5 Having been awarded a free kick in an awkward position after 66 minutes, Geudertheim did not go for a shot but instead fired the ball hard into the 6 yard box. After a brief tussle with his marker, J. Koluch was able to power the ball past the keeper to make the score 1 - 6. 79 minutes in, Geudertheim's Q. Devos received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. At 79 minutes into the game, manolo's M. Fontecilla deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 2 - 6. After 81 minutes, an incisive pass through the middle gave L. Schaar a chance to increase the lead for Geudertheim, and he did not disappoint. The score was then 2 - 7. The game was close to savage at times, and manolo's E. Todesco received a second yellow card after 85 minutes; his ticket out of the game. As the captain was no longer on the pitch, I. Corsavi took over the role of being the manolo captain. Unfortunately for Geudertheim, L. Schaar was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. J. Eupuh replaced him. Possession in this half belonged to Geudertheim, who controlled the ball 59 percent of the time.

I. Corsavi performed admirably for manolo. S. Núñez Polo on the other hand, had a terrible day. The most dominating Geudertheim player was without a doubt Q. Devos. L. Pentikäinen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 2 - 7.
