Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Japurá FC Arena saw a crowd turnout of 9346. The home crowd was not impressed by the fancy moves of Guaranii's O. Kleber after 2 minutes. He converted a pass from the left for a goal, resulting in the visitors taking the 0 - 1 lead. Some mind-boggling play by A. Mordoch almost resulted in a goal for Japurá, but R. Ferester's shot rebounded off the post. D. Ohlsdorf of Guaranii took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 25 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 2. Had it not been for one of the home defenders, G. Salatino would have put Guaranii up another goal 29 minutes into the match with his audacious lob from the right wing. After 35 minutes, Guaranii's A. Mordoch burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 3. 37 minutes into the game a free kick by F. de Camargo found its way through the home side's poorly assembled defensive formation, making Guaranii's lead 0 - 4. Halftime score was 0 - 4. Guaranii enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 84 percent of possession.

Some fine movement on the left led to a Guaranii goal after 72 minutes, making it 0 - 5. G. Salatino was noted down as the scorer. At this point, it was obvious that the players of Guaranii lowered the tempo and became more defensively oriented. After 76 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for F. de Camargo who increased Guaranii's lead to 0 - 6. F. de Camargo increased Guaranii's lead to 0 - 7 with a superb free kick strike that flew in just under the far top corner. That was his third goal of the match - a hat trick for F. de Camargo. The suddenness of the Guaranii's H. van der Tas's pass to D. Ohlsdorf after 79 minutes caught the opposition wrong-footed, and they could only watch as the ball sailed home for 0 - 8. Guaranii increased their lead after 82 minutes when G. Salatino broke through on the right, upping the score to 0 - 9, much to the home crowd's dismay. G. Salatino received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 83 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 10. The Guaranii fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. This third goal completed a hattrick for G. Salatino. Guaranii had most of the ball, with 88 percent of possession.

Japurá's top performer was clearly Á. Vasconcelos. However, V. Almeida made a disastrous appearance. Most important Guaranii player was T. Dölen. On the other hand, M. Riipi's play was disheartening. The match ends 0 - 10.
