Many thought
M. Gareca ought to have been awarded a penalty 44 minutes into the game, as he went down trying to dribble around
J. Rangone after a determined run through the middle.

P. Rodríguez was called on to replace cabildo's
A. Makhlav after 44 minutes following a nasty collision.

H. Zamarbide's hard but accurate header. The well executed routine resulted in a goal for pereira, the score now 1 - 4.
The home side worked hard to get through the middle and as a result, had a good chance of getting one back as
M. Gareca tried lifting the ball over keeper
J. Rangone. Unfortunately, the ball went just over the bar.
At 74 minutes into the game, cabildo's
J. Acuña deftly knocked the ball home after an impressive run down the left, reducing the visitors' lead to 2 - 4.
G. Wildtgrube did everything he could to get one back for his cabildo, but keeper
J. Rangone denied him with a spectacular block.
pereira had most of the ball, with 55 percent of possession.
The most dominating cabildo player was without a doubt
