Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and V-Stars Arena saw a crowd turnout of 26738. Bosenmaier received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. 22 minutes into the game, R. Vicente Costa had to leave the pitch due to a knee injury. In came S. Laukkanen. It was 0 - 1 at the break. V-Stars had most of the ball, with 54 percent of possession.

No matter how hard he tried, R. Hudak just couldn't get his shot past the visitors' right side defence after 52 minutes. After 56 minutes a combination in the middle resulted in a through ball for J. Bosenmaier who increased Koszule's lead to 0 - 2. The players of Koszule now seemed to think the job was done and acted more defensively, just waiting for the ref to blow the final whistle. V-Stars reduced the lead to 1 - 2 with 68 minutes on the clock when S. Loftsson got the best of a ball floated in from the left. 79 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 1 - 3 as V. Kinnari finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Neither team was controlling the possession at this point in the match, with the stats showing a 50:50 split.

V-Stars's top performer was clearly B. Szczotok. S. Paez was a disappointment, however. The most dominating Koszule player was without a doubt V. Kinnari. On the other hand, T. Bellaar's play was disheartening. The match ends 1 - 3.
