Confident in their lead, Jørgensen's players relaxed and focused more on defending the lead than increasing it. With 36 minutes played, Jørgensen put themselves up 0 - 5 after an attack from the right, caused by a defensive blunder. The scorer was N. Jørgensen. The visitors' M. Jørgensen took advantage of a misunderstanding between the home side's goalie and centre backs 37 minutes into the match. 0 - 6 for Jørgensen. 39 minutes in, Ø.F.C's N. Paaske Sørensen received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. U. Jørgensen's knee will be throbbing for days, but thankfully for Jørgensen, he bravely continued in the match. With 41 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed K. Jørgensen of Jørgensen to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 0 - 7. 0 - 7 was the halftime score. Jørgensen enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 79 percent of possession.

U. Jørgensen received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 51 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 8. The Jørgensen fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Jørgensen increased their lead after 52 minutes when M. That was far too lenient! Unfortunately for Ø.F.C, K. Rosendal was injured when the game became more physical, and he had to leave the field. J. Nielsen replaced him. K. Jørgensen of Jørgensen took advantage of a mistake on the home side's right after 83 minutes which increased the away team's lead to 0 - 10. By then K. Jørgensen had scored three goals - a hat trick! 85 minutes into the match, the visitors put themselves ahead 0 - 11 as M. Jørgensen finished off an attack from the left with a spectacular scissors kick. Thighs bulging, N. Jørgensen charged past the weaker players, seemingly oblivious to the rain. Jørgensen claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 81 percent.

Most important Ø.F.C player was J. Nielsen. On the other hand, H. Schween's play was disheartening. Jørgensen's top performer was clearly M. Jørgensen. G. Frydenlund Jørgensen was a disappointment, however. The match ends 0 - 11.
