Weather conditions were fairly good for football, and Campo dei Forti saw a crowd turnout of 41944. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave V. Conticini from Disgrazia a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 29 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! Disgrazia took the lead 31 minutes into the game, making the score 0 - 1 after some elegant movement down the middle. H. Pind was the scorer. The referee showed Disgrazia's G. Cecchi the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. After 38 minutes, Disgrazia's H. Pind burst through the central defence and let loose a cannonball of a shot, scoring for 0 - 2. Disgrazia's G. Anelli had to watch the rest of the game from the sidelines, after twisting his ankle with 43 minutes having been played. K. Ripulis was the replacement. We may never know what D. Ohmstede was thinking when he tried to pass the ball through a crowd of opponents. Luckily for him, Disgrazia's A. Zięba somehow missed the wide open net. G. Cecchi received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 44 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 3. The Disgrazia fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. Disgrazia's F. Praolini was shown a yellow card after 44 minutes for slicing down an opponent. G. Stevanella of Gialloblues had to be helped off the pitch as an injury meant he was unable to finish the game. V. Chachla-Huempfner came in to finish the match. It was 0 - 3 at the break. Disgrazia claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 57 percent.

After a short break after 46 minutes, Disgrazia seemed to change their tactical approach a bit. Gialloblues's V. Chachla-Huempfner got the home crowd going when he finished off a left wing charge, reducing the away team's lead to 1 - 3. The home crowd cheered when, after 55 minutes, V. Conticini's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. With 56 minutes played, a quick exchange of passes on the left wing freed V. Conticini of Disgrazia to slip through the defence and score another goal for the visitors. That made the score 1 - 4. A. Filičić left the field with a smile on his face as he was substituted 60 minutes into the game, as his team was in the lead. M. Truglio was the replacement. M. Truglio was the new captain of Disgrazia - handed the armband by the departing player. With 65 minutes played, the Gialloblues coach decided a substitution may help turn the game around. S. Rivelloni came on, S. Matikka had to leave the fray. A marvellous Gialloblues effort on the right-hand side resulted in a goal after 66 minutes by M. Negru, making the score 2 - 4. After 75 minutes, Gialloblues switched S. Assa with S. Tangen, hoping for a quick impact on the pitch. 83 minutes in, Gialloblues's E. Aranda received a yellow card for going into a challenge studs first. Disgrazia enjoyed most of the ball, as they maintained 57 percent of possession.

Gialloblues's top performer was clearly G. Zanetti. V. Chachla-Huempfner turned in a dismal performance, however. G. Cecchi performed admirably for Disgrazia. However, J. Baquero made a disastrous appearance. The match ends 2 - 4.
