Tomateam were mostly trying to use their skill at attacking on the flanks. Tomateam fans held their breath as G. Uldanck scampered down the left side. He successfully avoided all challenges and cracked home the shot for 1 - 0! F. do Burgo made a good effort at breaking through on the right, but the home team's left defence cleared the ball to a corner. 29 minutes into the match the visitors levelled the score at 1 - 1 as J. González struck home from a rebound off the crossbar, following a shot from the right. Some things can only be learned through experience, and G. Uldanck should take his lesson to heart after nearly gifting SweetYears a goal with 30 minutes of the match played. The teams went for the halftime break at 1 - 1. Neither team were able to dominate possession this half.

A mistake by the home side's central defence after 61 minutes allowed E. Someda to score for SweetYears. The scoreboard now read 1 - 2. After 64 minutes of game time, E. Someda had an excellent opportunity to add to the visitors' lead, clipping a volley hooked in from the right, but R. Zeimots was in the right place and tipped the ball over for a corner. After a fatal mistake from the away team's right side defence 77 minutes into the match, an alert M. Cigoli bagged the ball for Tomateam, levelling the score to 2 - 2. SweetYears took the lead after 78 minutes making the score 2 - 3. J. González placed the ball out of reach for the home side's keeper after a fine move, coming in from the left. Proving his experience, E. Someda scored 2 - 4 for SweetYears after putting some pressure on the opposing defence at a critical moment. The home crowd was not impressed when E. Someda came in from the right, shooting hard to score after 81 minutes. SweetYears were now up 2 - 5. At that, E. Someda was noted down for a hat trick! By now, the players in SweetYears felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defence and not risking too much going forward. Tomateam refused to be intimidated and, breaking through the middle, F. Tomasik managed to slip the ball home for 3 - 5. Tomateam's G. Uldanck got himself booked for a foul. Tomateam claimed to have seen most of the ball, and the statistics agreed with them - possession being 58 percent.

S. Ferraiuolo performed admirably for Tomateam. M. Cigoli on the other hand, had a terrible day. SweetYears's top performer was clearly E. Someda. P. Folch turned in a dismal performance, however. The match ends 3 - 5.
