Overcast weather free of rain made for a crowd turnout of 17579 at oh suke Arena today. Benjamin Kock was the appointed referee. Sayunaras decided to use a 5-3-2 set up. Sayunaras focused on getting players in position for long range shots. Some good play on the left wing created an opportunity for the visitors 7 minutes into the match, and X. Tembras wasn't about to let it go by. He got past the defenders and fired a shot that the keeper just missed. 0 - 1 for the visitors. The opposing supporters gave the referee an earful when he only gave A. Bovichev from VelleS a yellow card after a mistimed challenge from behind 20 minutes into the game. That was far too lenient! VelleS had to make a substitution after 24 minutes. P. Haro limped off the field and was replaced by E. Arcas. M. Ramos received a delicate pass through the home side's central defence after 27 minutes, and chipped it past the flailing keeper to score making it 0 - 2. The VelleS fans went wild, whilst the home fans started to think about leaving early. VelleS's E. Arcas refused to leave the field after injuring his achilles tendon after 30 minutes. The teams went for the halftime break at 0 - 2. Possession in the forty-five minutes was dominated by VelleS, with 62 percent of the ball.

The home crowd cheered when, after 57 minutes, E. Arcas's charge up the middle resulted in the keeper making one of his best saves of the day. Sayunaras's F. Serna Cortes was shown a yellow card for standing over the ball and blocking an opponent's quick free kick after 68 minutes. 84 minutes into the match, M. Ramos came through the middle and almost added to his team's lead, but the shot went wide. VelleS had most of the ball, with 62 percent of possession.

A. Tural performed admirably for Sayunaras. L. Kuryłowicz turned in a dismal performance, however. The most dominating VelleS player was without a doubt J. Utrillas. A. Bovichev on the other hand, had a terrible day. The match ends 0 - 2.
